Our Mission
Welcome to The Gardeners of America!
We have deep roots in 26 clubs across the nation. Seeded in 1928 in Chicago, we are a nonprofit committed to sharing horticultural, environmental, and sustainability education ...
… in our clubs across the nation with seminars, field trips
and sharing
… in the community, helping kids and adults discover their
skills with programs, seminars, scholarships, community gardens, and celebrations
… and in our home gardens, pots and lawns -- cultivating
what we learn through The Gardeners of America!
In addition to our club and regional gatherings and excursions, we gather annually for a convention vibrant with seminars, conversations, field trips, club business, celebrations, great food, and fun.
